Spencer Brooks - Strategic Partner

Spencer Brooks has provided strategic counsel or served as a senior executive for PR and media relations companies in corporate communications, entertainment, new media, lifestyle, entrepreneurs, event management and other industries for more than 10 years. Brooks, an award-winning communications strategist, has a diverse background in public relations, journalism, marketing and event management. He is the proud recipient of the 1998 First Place P.R.A.M.E. (Public Relations and Marketing Excellence) Electronic Entertainment Award for spearheading a start-up company publicity campaign that attracted nearly 600 million media impressions. Recognized as an intuitive publicity and marketing specialist, Brooks has a proven track record for developing comprehensive communications programs that result in top tier media results, brand growth, increased market share, Web site traffic and other business goals.

As a strategic partner with Maestro Communications, Brooks contributes his resources and talents to round out and help bring Maestro Communications' client PR campaigns to the next level. Brooks also assists with strategic planning, new business opportunities and focuses primarily in achieving top-tier media editorial.

Prior to working with Maestro Communications, Brooks was an Account Supervisor for The Terpin Group, a pioneering high technology / new media PR firm, Brooks oversaw such accounts as PriceNgine Technologies, NadaPC, Aaron Rosand, Urbangoods.com, TelSurf Networks and eCompany. During his tenure at TTG, Brooks achieved nearly 100 million media impressions within 90 days for Aaron Rosand, widely recognized as one of America's best-kept secrets in classical music. Prior to being recruited by The Terpin Group, Brooks served as Director, Entertainment & New Media for Spelling Communications, where he spearheaded record-setting publicity campaigns for corporate entertainment, high technology, licensing, post-production and Internet-related companies. Global Icons, Pulse Entertainment, Me.Net, Pentafour, Manex Entertainment, Post Logic Studios and Virtual Celebrity Productions were some of his signature accounts at Spelling.

Brooks has also held public relations and marketing positions at The Walt Disney Company, The City of Inglewood, Lynn Allen Jeter & Associates and Kannike Records. As an organizer, Brooks has planned trade shows, press junkets, private events, speaking engagements and other activities. Additionally, Brooks has published more than 100 articles as a journalist and holds a B.A. degree in Mass Communications from California State University, Northridge.
